Nacpan beach ~Philippines

Ok, so I guess you already figured out that we didn't only stay in El Nido for two days, there were actually quite a few things to do and after a lot of struggeling with flights and busses getting there, we maybe happened to want to stay a bit longer than for two days. So one day we packed our beach bags, rented a motorbike and brought our famous friend (I know, I'm starstruck) to Nacpan beach which was supposed to be an undiscovered paradise.

And really, it was a paradise. Situated 17 kilometers north of El Nido town the two beaches Nacpan beach and Twin beach stretches for over 4 kilometer and are surrounded by tall coconut trees. The beach is not crowded at all but still not too undiscovered anymore since a lot of people have heard about the place and also have started investing in hostels and restaurants around the area waiting for the Philippines to boom and get even more touristy.

We paid 10 USD for the motorbike including gas and then we had the bikes for the whole day. When we arrived to the beach we went for an exploration hike, which we paused every 10 minutes and went for a swim instead. When our tummies wanted our attention we went back from the hike to have lunch and drink coconut water at one of the beach restaurants. Sounds dreamy, but it's all true.

We watched the sunset before we drove back in the complete darkness and on this really bad, bumpy and waterfilled road that lead us back to the hostel, and MAYBE another pukka night. Maybe.
