Tandang, Blue Lagoon ~Philippines

During our days in Tandag we're staying with the family of Kaye and getting spoiled, like really spoiled. They do our laundry, cook amazing food three times a day, do our dishes, drive us to nice places around the city and teach us all about the Philippines. They teach us how to use spoon and fork when we eat and laugh at us when we tell them that their jail for murderers look as serious as the playground of a school yard in Sweden.

Our third day Kaye, Ian and Warren wanted to take us to a place called Blue Lagoon. To get there from Tandag we first took a van and then a boat.

The filipinos are world masters of taking selfies. They can just disappear for 30 minutes without telling you just to have a selfie photo shoot. Looking at these pictures you'll all understand what I mean.

At the Blue Lagoon we were alone. There wasn't anybody there and we just enjoyed the calmness while eating bananas, listening to music and taking selfies, of course! The place looks like a resort but is just a nice place for people to hang out at during day. You can swim, eat or play basketball or, I don't know, just chill.

After a couple of hours we made our way back to Tandag and some dinner before game night started.

Let me just say this once and for all, the filipinos are the best people in the world. NEVER have I experienced this kind of hospitality in other countries or cultures. The filipinos just enjoy spoiling and helping you. Like Kaye and her family that are helping us with everything from finding our passports when they've been off the beaten track to buy us flight ticket or just make us pancakes for breakfast since we don't eat rice and sausage for breakkie. Please, go to the Philippines. These people deserves a price.
